I am looking for a mechanic to look after my Alfa 156 t/s. lately we have been let down and a bit disappointed with main dealer levels of service & costs. so a reliable independent seems the way to go...

Apologies for resurrecting an old thread - but CAN anyone recommend a decent independent in the Belfast area for Alfas?

Thanks

Also try Eurofix, Upper Dunmurry Lane. The guy has been working on Alfas for years (also works on Lotus - so a brave soul too).

Thanks all. I haven't bought an Alfa yet, but still looking for a nice 166 2.5 or 3.0V6 with leather. Very hard to find locally!

Most scrap yards are full of them! Just get there quick before the bodywork decomposes

A most interesting and useful comment, especially given that your profile shows that you have never owned an Alfa of any kind?

As a babe in arms a nasty Alfa nicked his candy off him while he snoozed in his pram.

Boy are you out of touch with the world of cars.

Don't know which main dealer you were using but the NIIMC members have a deal with M Stewarts for 15% discount on parts a labour. www.niimc.net for joining details.
