Need a bit of help here in trying to locate someone who does ECU remapping in Northern Ireland (or in the South). Does anyone know of any or can recommend anyone who could dpo this for a TDI Seat? Would many of the outfits who do this have rolling roads?

Thanks,
JuniorD

David Wishart from Kells is one www.torquetronix.co.uk

or OBD Autotune in Ballymena are supposed to be ok.
www.obd-auto-tune.co.uk/

Ive no direct personal experience with either.

A friend did get his Seat Altea done with Wishart a while back. No power run before hand, but lets just say the power run afterwards, the numbers were more than a tad optimistic. either way, he was happy enough with the car after.

Most RR numbers are too easy to manipulate anyway, so dont get too hooked up on numbers. Its how it performs on road that matters.

I've used OBD-auto-tune and they are very good. And yes, they have a rolling road.

dont let just anyone remap your car, go with someone that knows what they are doing.
Torquetronics are the guys!

Fixed an awful map that i got elsewhere (dont know where as it was on car when i got it) car is now so much better. Also have done a 2l diesel A3 and another bmw for me, top marks. He lets you test the car throughly before you pay and will happily tweak away until your happy.
