Track car Alfa 147
Discussion
Just seeing if theres anyone local who has space and a desire to build a track car?
I started an Alfa 147 2.0 TS about 10 years ago and never finished it. It has Lexan rear windows, stripped interior and a few mods from when it was my road car. It still has the 3 cats in place and it started ok last time I tried a few years ago. It has been in a stable avoiding the worst of the weather since it was about 7 years old (when I parked it up) so wouldn't expect any corrosion at all.
The 2.0 is a very sweet handling car with double wishbone suspension and the ss exhaust had a nice fruity rasp at higher rpm. But with a standard 150bhp it wont be the fastest thing on a track.
Basically I've had a stty diagnosis and want to clear out half a dozen cars that I've been keeping 'cause I'll get round to it some day. I dont want my missus holding onto this for some sentimental reason and wasting money on it. The rest of the cars just needed mot'd so were easy to give to friends. This will require investment of time and money. While I'm happy to let it go to it's new owner for free, I'm not calling a scrap man to chop it because I'd like to think someone else who has time could start their build on a cracking chassis, so please dont scrap it if you take it.
Dont bother with PMs just reply here if you want it.
