Purchase a car in London and bring to N. Ireland

I am looking at purchasing a car in London and bringing it home to N. Ireland, is there any import duty or other fees to be paid due to the present protocol or Irish Sea border

If you travel into Ireland, there could be hassles.

If you travel via directly to Northern Ireland, there will be none.

Even less hassle these days with all registration done through Swansea DVLA. Irish Sea border really a shambles and only applies to anything travelling on to the ROI.
