Nearly Made a Return to the TVR fold!!
Discussion
Hi folks,
On my second Elise now, but as some of you will know I have and will always love my TVRs, for 2 big reasons, the sound and the way it looks!!
So on this basis I went to look at a Tamora at Racing Green, which is not too far from me. First impressions I was a little disappointed. The car looked tired and a bit rough compared to my elise. It was 5 years older, however the Tamora in question has only done 9000 miles!!! Time for a test run and as soon as I got in, that rush of adrenaline came rushing back, which we all know. The roads were damp and there were lots of leaves around, but I was still sh***ing myself, even though I was only pootling along. The car had bison interior, which I'm not a fan of and there were a few bits of dash rattling around.
So the long and short is, I will be sticking with the elise. It looks a lot fresher, is it much more composed and put together than the Tamora and is also a lot less unnerving to drive quickly. Maybe I may try a newer T350 in a few years time!!
By the way recognised a NI TVR sitting outside, a grey Sagaris Reg D18 MCA
Cheers
Mike
P.S Colin & Crew, when are you coming down to the south of England for a trackday?? I can put a few people up, only half and hour from Brands Hatch

Hi Mike, you need to stay away from rg cars overpriced not as well presented as others out there, give Str8Six a go far better cars.
What elise you got had a 111 a while back was great car but not a patch on the Chimaera.
Brands Hatch eh Bob can we afford the juice to get there lol Goodwood & back was 7 tanks, Brands would be another 2 tanks for the track on top lol its cheaper to do Spa lol well that's my plan for 2012
