Anyone here able to recommend a car transport company to bring an MR2 from BT28 all the way over to Suffolk?

I've just submitted a job request to www.shiply.com and am waiting for quotes to come in.

But if any of you guys have shipped to/from Northern Ireland and have had a good experience with a particular guy, please let me know.

Thanks.

If you ask over on Really Mean Sounds or Jon44w forum, there are definitely a couple of guys who get recommendations. Although the query is usually from England back here.
And TBH their prices usually seem pretty damn good.

Cant recall the name of the places, but pretty sure shiply wasnt one though

Eammon McGlaughlin transport 02871811161.

Used by many in the TVR Car club to transport purchases/sales/breakdowns to and from England.
Recommended.

Have used Eamon on a few occasions in the past as well. Always helpful and good to deal with.

Excellent - I'll call him this afternoon. Always good to give business to people who've done good work.

I would recommend Eamon too! Wouldn't use anyone else.

Steer clear of AJ Transport anyway. They just lie to your face about pick up dates and pretend they are going to pick up the car on a certain day when they have no intention of it. They quote within 5 working days on the phone but its bullst. I wouldnt use them every again after my experience.

Friend of mine used A1AutoTransport for a similar shipment and had no complaints. You're right to compare some prices though. They can be quite a bit different between different companies and putting in the time to get a couple estimates can definitely save you some money in the long run. Hope this helps.
