I'm heading to the Revival this year travelling via Dublin-Holyhead and back. A long haul in an old jalopy. Anyone else going?

We were just talking about booking this last night. I'd say we'll be flying over though as the last time we went the drive down had us all in bad form!

How does the revival compare to the festival of speed?

I'm driving down by myself and meeting up with a mate...so I can fall out with myself if I get lost! Flew a couple of years ago via Heathrow..the sheisters in Europcar nearly ruined it for me.

FoS is more about moderns and out and out speed. And no dressing up. Whereas the GR has the dressing up bit (it's not as bad as it sounds) and brilliant very competitive racing with quality, 650's and 60's machinery. Even the pre-1965 car park is a place you could spend hours. Either one is class.
