Thats a pretty nasty crash!

I thought those bars on the back of the lorry was to stop this happening, but I suppose with lower/faster cars you'll just go underneath them now.

Hope the driver/passenger was ok.

I was reading something about it on t'web the other day, the guys daughter had posted in the comments as people were making a few nasty comments about his ability to drive (as they do on the internet) IIRC he had an aneurism (?) and the outlook wasn't good.

Hi Shane,

With respect I think you should remove these pics, its not a Pistonheader but I know the family dont want these posted all over the net. Other local forums have removed them so I think we should do the same. Not driver error btw caused by an aneurysm.

Fair point guys. Did not intend to cause offence, I was told no one was badly injured in this - however it looks that was not the case! Sad to see this type of car like this non the less..

Original post edited to remove photos.

Every man and his dog already has a set of the piocs anyway.
The comments i heard also mentioned aneurysm/ stroke...however the word b***ocks usually followed it fairly quickly. i should stress that i have no idea of the truth or otherwise of it.

From what I remember a relative of the man driving came on to one of the NI forums and cleared up the story of what happened.

Is there any further update on the driver? My dad's done business with him and I've met him twice. Lovely guy, used to have a 355 and 430 before the 458. I hope he pulls through.
