All tuned up and nowhere to go!

Hi All,
Like a good number of people on the forum, I was gutted when I heard that Marham was cancelled this year. I have always had something I couldn’t move on all of the other dates, so I decided to get The Beast ready for that 1.4mi straight.
The RS6 has been running a generic Custom Code ECU map for the last two years that removed the speed limiter and the OEM torque limit. It made a big difference, but I always felt it was lacking some refinement. It delivered a few horses shy of 500bhp and 760Nm of torque when dyno’d on a baking hot day which was very good.
So, when an EGT sensor died a few months ago, it was upgrade time! I had a full Milltek exhaust system fitted with 100 cell cats to limit the bottleneck of the original quad cats. This, together with a few tweaks e.g. new diverter valves, MAFs and N75s etc it was time for a custom map to unleash every last scrap of power.
I used a well respected tuner on various VAG forums called viperbl (http://www.vipertuning.com) and the results were great! Rich and I spent several hours on the road, and then some final tweaks on a rolling road and posted the following results...
Peak power 536.9 BHP
Peak torque 604 ftlb (almost all of that is from 2800 to 4600rpm)
I just hope that I don’t wreak the gearbox, but as long as it has locked up it is pretty safe to cope with that twist.
Just itching for Marham to be ready in a few months where I can unleash it fully!
