Can anyone help - I have a Ferrari F355 Spider and the roof ECU is playing up.

Is it possible to get these things reconditioned? If so does anyone have any recommendations for where to go? I'm based in Norwich.

Many thanks
Ian

I remember reading somewhere that the 355 spider has a couple of potentiometers under the seats. When they fail (or go on the blink) the ECU won't shut the roof. Might be worth having a look down that route if you haven't already.

Thanks for your help Mark .the seat potentiometers are working fine. I have tried a ecu off another car and everything springs into life so I know it's the ecu but the cost of a new one is £1500 which I'm not prepared to pay as the roof will still go up & down with the override switch so it's not a problem. Cheers ian

i know of a company called electroversal tel 01582 582023 they check and repair anything that is electronic, they dont need to know what it does or how it works they just test it then tell you what the repair will cost, you pay they fix then send it back. i have used then before and will again. hope this helps

Thanks for your help Tony I did try that company but all they do is engine ecu's as does all the other companies I tried. So I ended up buying one on eBay and saved over £1200 . And thanks for everybody else who helped.
