eerrmm.... Hi ! .......at last !..
Discussion
Just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to my regional PHers. I have always been a bit of a petrol head and last May I purchased the car I had fallen in love with 5 years ago ( It is a laser blue TVR Tamora which my wife and I hired for the weekend of our wedding in 2005 ). Unfortunately , not long after buying the Tamora and signing myself up to PH, my son fell very ill with meningitis - fortunately he survived this nasty illness and is well on the road to recovery now. Due to this I had very little time last year to use my p&j or involve myself in PH - Hopefully this year will be much better and I hope to make some local events and meet some of you guys ! Anyhow , like I said , I just wanted to say hi and if you see a blue Tamora PN05 flying around Ipswich area it should be me ( either that or some scumbag has stolen my car ! lol )

I was just thinking , what nice replies people were sending! ..... Then suddenly everybody starts slaging off the tiv , lol. I know what you mean - I have spent a few hours repairing bits that have fallen off/ broken . But I do have to love it !
Just keep telling yourself she's full of character! Welcome mate and very glad to hear your son is on the mend.
As for the TVR, I know they can be badly built, expensive to run, will tear your face off without warning, and all the rest of it.
But even knowing that, and having mates that have owned them and experienced all this forst hand, I'd have one in a heartbeat!
Tuscan or Cerbera for me, probs the latter if i'm honest.

May I also echo the sentiments of other PHEAers, albeit rather late!
Welcome the the forum - another person with another TVR is certainly always welcome
Also, I'm glad your son is over the worst and now patching up well
As and when you'd like to meet some PHers, please feel free to join us at our Monthly Meet, one of which is taking place on the last Sunday of this month.
The Fish and Chip Run is also taking place in April, which is a great way to meet other local PHers and go for a decent drive in the Suffolk countryside
If you'd like to be kept abreast of PHEA happenings, then please drop me a message and I can add you to the PHEA mailing list
I look forward to meeting you and seeling your Tiv in the metal...erm...well, plastic
