PHEA Aldeburgh fish and chips run April 10th

As people seem to be chomping at the bit I thought I'd pop this post up to confirm things.

I'm organising a drive to Aldeburgh on Sunday April 10th to sample their lovely fish'n'chips and some great roads along the way. Anyone is welcome whether you drive a Saxo or a Zonda. Oh and motorbikes are also OK.



Start point (A) Thetford - Sainsbury Car park 9am (Led by Darren)

We'll then drive to Stowmarket to meet everyone else

We'll then all drive to Aldeburgh and hopefully get there by 11:15 (ish)

We'll park at the North end of town in the Thrope Road Car park (pay and display, space for 240 cars)

Once there you are you are free to do whatever you like There is a Fish'n'chip shop not far from the car park that opens at midday. You can get your food there and eat on the sea front. Alternatively there is a sit down restaurant further down the high street. All the shops are open on a Sunday too.

What I'm going to need however is a few volunteers to lead small groups on the run from Stowmarket to Aldeburgh. The route is really easy to follow and full paper and TomTom maps will be provided. I'm going to lead one group but depending on how many cars sign up we may need 2-3 more leaders.



There will also be the PHEA Annual Awards!!!

• Cleanest Car
• The Puff Daddy, Bling award
• Gentleman Driver Award

The winners will receive some highly coveted prizes

or of course - a lovely trip to Aldeburgh, with chips + above + sticky choc cake + your desired "adrenaline driving" (if that's possible in a Reliant Robin ) so you get the whole package !

Hope so... balied last time as I did the Surrey run which is a fair bit closer !!

Have only done one run with you guys, and that was in the dirty french slut.. enjoyed myself that time
