-9 C this morning

-11C at Manningtree station this morning - slithered all the way to the station, only to find that my train had more than half of its doors frozen shut. The train guard reckoned that it was going to get cancelled at Colchester on safety grounds... I gave up and slithered home again.
Fortunately my boss didn't make it in from north of Colchester - his car reported -12!
It's a balmy -5 outside now - I think I'll get the deckchairs out... might not bother with the speedos though...

Get yourself over to the Thetford/Brandon area in the morning and hang around the forest, you'll see loads of mushers out practising with their dogs.
Try to avoid 2 mile bottom though, that has a reputation for different sorts of activities named after dogs!
Eccles , your a top dog, good man. I have also read up that whiskey freezes at -17 so I shall tuck a bottle in an old woolly sock for insulation during my journey, could I get done for drinking while mushing Try to avoid 2 mile bottom though, that has a reputation for different sorts of activities named after dogs!
