Vodafone 3G signal in Norwich
Discussion
Heading to Norwich this Saturday to look at a new motor. I just wondered whether the Vodafone 3G signal will work well once I'm there? I'll need it to direct me (walking) from the train station to the dealership.
I know this is a daft questions but I've been to plenty of places in Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire where I've expected it to work and it hasn't.

BTW- The St Williams Way site is NR7 0AR and not NR1 as your post (probably a typo?)- that site is quite near my office and I couldn't work out why the post code was so different. You could walk it from the station but I reckon it will be a good 35-45 minutes (unless you run it)and its mostly uphill!
The other site (Barker St) is right across the city, so a much more pleasant walk but still probably half an hour or so. It's worth checking which site you need to go to as they are in completely opposite directions!

There certainly was (if not still is) Wi-fi throughout the city centre, run by BT Openzone, which you had to pay for. There are private free networks around the city from the usual subjects, such at Pret a Manger.
RE: Norwich Car Centre, the two are, as mentioned, in opposite directions, so I concur you should check which one you need.
The St Williams way branch is 1.9 miles (~40 minute walk) away.
Their Barker Street dealership is 1.5 miles (~30 minute walk) away, so I guess this is the one you require.
Unfortunately my experience of the particular dealership is limited. I've only enquired about cars at the Barker Street dealership, on two occasions.
The first, 8 years ago, they pretty much ignored my enquiry on a BMW (I can only assume because of my age back then).
Then 3 years ago they were very helpful when I was merely browsing.
Other than that, I'm afraid I can't help!
In all honesty, I would recommend cabbing it to either place, as it will only take 5-10 minutes. But that's just me......and I'm lazy

It is NR7 as mentioned - I must have misread it. The car is at the St Williams Way site so after a few hours on a train I think the walk will be welcome! I'm in two minds whether to actually go now having test driven one this afternoon.
Thanks for all your help.

Norwich Car Centre. If you know a little about them I'd appreciate a heads up. They have two branches, one at NR1 0AR and the other at NR2 4TN. 1.5miles from the train station according to Google Maps.
Thanks for the info regarding the 3G.
I know this is a bit late in the day to post but why didn't you just download the directions from Google ?Thanks for the info regarding the 3G.
