Stainless exhaust welding in or around Peterborough?

SWMBO has got an S2000 which has developed a rattle from one of the factory exhaust boxes. A poke around underneath revealed a small crack in the face of one of the boxes.

The exhaust isn't blowing, just producing an annoying rattle, so I am reluctant to spend £454+vat on a new half system including both boxes to get a 2" crack welded.

Does anybody know anywhere in or around Peterborough that could weld a stainless exhaust on the car?

You could try Jon Cooper at AK Sportscars in Pboro if you get stuck. The guy is awesome at SS welding!

I can get it sorted if you still need help... good petrolhead mate of mine runs his own (stainless) fabrication and precision engineering business and has a car lift in his workshop... Often sorted a few "on the car" jobs on a multitude of interesting motors. Should think he'll only charge the equivalent of a couple of pints.
