The PHEA Monthly Meet is back! Sunday 31st October

Afternoon everyone!
After a decent summer of shows and runs, the PistonHeads East Anglian pub meet has returned, and will be held on the age ol' tradition of the final Sunday of this month - that's Sunday 31st October.
We shall be visiting our old haunt of The Rose and Crown Pub in Staton, near Bury St Edmunds - CLICK HERE FOR A MAP LINK
Can we please meet at the usual time of 12:30pm, for a 1pm munch time
So if you'd like to come along and meet with some old faces, or maybe you're a newbie who'd like to join us for some decent pub grub and a natter with new friends, you are more than welcome to come along.

***IMPORTANT - NO CARD PAYMENTS***
I had a call from the Rose and Crown this evening informing me that their card payment facilities have failed, so they are unable to accept card payments. So that's cash only I'm afraid to say.

That was indeed spectacular; last time I saw anything like that was in a Yates Wine Lodge about 2 minutes after a fellow student went round the pub finishing all the leftover drinks...
I was mpressed by the flexibility and general cheeriness of the staff throughout; can't imagine what Mr & Mrs Flying Fortress would have done if we'd turned up with ONE extra person, let alone yakked over the table!
