Need help transporting a car
Discussion
Hi guys, I'm looking for some help to transport a car from King's Lynn to Dunstable Beds. Think it's about 80 miles.
I'm not looking for a freeby, quite happy to pay, but the only quotes I've found so far have been a bit too pricey for me.
Car is a non runner (has no engine or gearbox), but moves, so will easily winch onto a trailer/flatbed.
Thanks for your help,
Matt.

what sort of car is it that needs moving? i know its engineless but would need to take into account towing weights with a standard car to stay legal otherwise you'd need a discovery etc then you'd be looking at quite different fuel costs even though its not a huge distance but not a direct route.
I towed my Capri to Santa Pod and back (about 180 mile round trip) using my Sierra estate and that cost me in the region of £45 in petrol, Then you'd need to factor in a "drink" for the driver to cover giving up half a day. Even as a "favour" you'd need to allow £100-120 for the move.
