Sunday 25th April at The Angel pub around 1pm, Larling (also the Harling turn off - and that is not a spelling error!!)just off the A11 between Thetford and Snetterton.

Note any interest by repying on this thread and watch for any details later. If you need reminding nearer the time, email me through my profile and I will try to remember to email you directly - and perhaps someone can remind me to remind you

The first showed good promise and I personally think it`s great that we have the potential for a wide variety of cars.

Hi Ian,
Cobra is back together again, so as long as it isn't raining I'll be there, unless I strip it down again through boredom!

From all those that emailed me for the first meeting, I can tell you there is a rich diversity of cars and most of those that couldn`t make it last time (plus some new - including another Ultima) have indicated a better chance of coming to the next

Phil - stop twiddling with that Cobra

I'll tentatively put my name down for this again Ian but like last time I'll only know closer to the day.

Fingers crossed though.
Anthony (with the Noble M12).

I'll be there, provided I haven't died from the raging hangover I'm currently suffering anyways....

Could be a perfect birthday surprise!! How do you know it`s not her ultimate treat to be in the company of loads of hunks?!

Watch this space for some events through the year - getting a bit organised now!

Would have liked to have joined in with this one but we have a Karting night on Saturday and I think it may be a little too much.

I'm sending out a missive this week...I'll put it on......

How many cars can your pub park up Ian...?

Our first "East Anglian Pistonheaders" meeting attracted 60 cars and they all managed to get parked up ok........only kidding

Seriously - the pub has two car parks with the larger one by the pub and another smaller one across the road. I reckon around 20-25 in the larger and 10-12 in the smaller. If most that have so far indicated interest for the next meet through my email turned up, that number together with general public parking would fill it completely!! If that does happen, then it will be time to search out another pub I guess.

I think there are some Pistonheaders coming who have experience with this sort of thing (I`m no organiser, I just seem to have been the original catalyst) so I`ll be happy to fade into the background if/as it becomes established and concentrate on the beer and looking at all sorts of cars while they organise!!

I`ll try and make the effort to come down to one of your TVRCC meets in the summer (once I`ve saved enough for two tank fulls and enough for a couple of pints and Ploughmans - I`m classy me!!)

All the best

Ian

Purely in the interests of saving space in the car park, could anyone give me a lift down from North Norfolk? I would drive down but car isn't anything special, I won't have a bike by then, and the A1065 Fakenham-Swaffham road is one of the best driving roads in the country (apparently).

So if anyone is coming from or going to be passing close to Fakneham ( Multimap Link ) then I would be much obliged, and they won't have to buy a drink at the pub!

Last months (first) Anglian Pistonheaders meet had cars ranging from saloons to exotic!! At the moment this is just an informal meeting of like minded souls who share a passion and either own or would like to own sports cars - and to meet fellow Pistonheaders. I believe there could also be a new Pistonheads event list to hand out for the coming months

Did you know PetrolTed drives a saloon?!
