Hi all,
Cobra is going on the rollers for a quick power run tomorrow. Does anyone know if Clives rollers are generally higher or lower than others? Just be nice to have some idea as a comparison,
Phil

Rolling roads are funny things and you will always find differences between them. There have been many discussions on forums regarding this. I try to keep using the same one for consistancy.

I just took a car to Clives reputed to have 168bhp and it recorded 166 so pretty good.

Hi Eddy,
thanks for that, got the results, the expected matches the measurement (268BHP) so I now have a bench mark for the new engine for next year smile

I put my car on Clive's rollers yesterday, I'd say they were very accurate based on previous experience.

most of the time the rollers are highly accurate it all comes down to how the user interprets the results. eg. are the figures temperature corrected etc.

clive is one of the most knowledgeable engine guru's around. so results should be good.
