Very different. The rain delayed the start until 11am, th whole trck was just one big layer of water, though by 1pm the racing linehad been dried (by traffic) so such an extent that my wet tyres weren't gripping properly anymore. I thought that I'd switch to semi-slicks for the aftenoon, but it then started raining again over lunch!
Having said that, a chap in a very nippy Rover 200 kept his R888s on all day quite happily. I didn't fancy it in my RWD car though.
The profile of car was very different. Whilst at the novice day there were three or four cars faster than me, yesterday there were only three or four slower
and there were 50 cars booked in too.
One chap turned up with a lorry full of Radicals, there were Touring Car type saloons, and (can't always tell what class some of these cars are) GT-type BMW, a X-Bow, a phenomenal E46 M3 CSL, ... you get the idea.
But... the quality of driving was great. There was significantly less arrogance than at the novice day and you just hd to appreciate that some cars were entirely suited to over-taking just before a bend because they were so fast - both straight and through the twisties.
