I have just changed the XJ8 for an XJR so I'm looking forward to getting out on a PH run again some time soon! The leather on the almost white front seats is quite cracked and looking a bit sorry for itself, letting down what is otherwise a lovely old car. Does anyone have any recommendations as to who would be the people to contact to remedy this and if so, how long is it likely to stay looking good for? Cheers.

Take a nice early morning run down to Braintree - www.trim-tech.co.uk. Cannot fault this guys work, he has done leather work on many of my cars. He won't come out to you - to far, but works from home on a weekend - Freeport is just behind his house sort treat the Mrs to a day out and earn lots of brownie points

Brockwells car trimmers In Kings Lynn are good....but you WILL be paying a fair wedge! (quoted me £500 for 4 full leather door cards) Ruben Brockwell has been doing classics for years!

Failing that, Enigma Automotive is new but still a very good re-trimmer! See his portfolio below

+1

You pay for what you get and these guys can do anything from a patch to full custom interior. Hope the waiting list isn't as long as it was for me.
