Hello

It is getting towards the annual "lets get lost in Suffolk run" wink

The run will take in some really nice quiet roads in Cambridge, Suffolk and Norfolk and we've had some great cars attending in the past couple of years.

The date of the run is the 26th of September

I'm proposing that we do the 3 start points again in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk and we'll all meet up for lunch with another blat afterwards. This is subject to some nice people volunteering to lead a group. Routes will be similar to last year, with a couple of small changes and I can provide a TomTom file if needed.

I'll update this thread when we have more information

Start point 1
Cambridge Led by me
Meeting at Milton Tescos near Cambridge
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&a...
10am for 10:15 (ish) start

Start point 2 - Led by Darren (iluvmercs)
Norfolk 10:15am for 10:30 start,
Meeting in Norwich at Travelodge car park, Thickthorn Service station
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&am...

Start point 3 - Led by Willards
Suffolk
Meeting in Ipswich at Toys R Us 10 am
http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&a... (B on map)

Lunch stop will be at High Lodge in Thetford Forest http://www.forestry.gov.uk/highlodge
There is a car parking charge of £1.80 per hour per car, so bring some change.

You can either bring a picnic or eat in the cafe

We should be at High Lodge at about midday if anyone wishes to join us there.

Finish point is Elveden Estate cafe just off the A11
http://www.elveden.com/cafe-restaurants/about.asp

Oh and everybody is welcome no matter what you drive (as long as you can safely keep up).

Pop your name down if you would like to attend

Sadly the 26th is the day of RS Owners Club National Day @ Stanford Hall frown So you may be short on RS Fords this year............ having said that a PHEA Run does sound quite a bit more appealing than parking in a field for the day smile

Just bookmarking this thread... the tax on my track car runs out at the end of September so this may be a nice way to end the year. Will be a Suffolk startee if I come along.
