The 3rd Richard Burns memorial rally for the Burns Foundation charity is being held at RAF Marham again this year on 14 and 15th Aug. So far there are 120 (86 last year) competitors, and the event promises to be the biggest yet!!

More info can be found on the website: www.richardburnsmemorialrally.co.uk

There will be many displays, a funfair, chance to walk around the pit lanes and see some very good racing, as well as a mini airshow to boot!

I am helping to organise it, so if anybody is a member of a separate car club, or even if PH want to bring some cars along to set up a stand to show their cars and enjoy seeing one or two days of competitve racing please contact me on 07818 607014. Space isn't an issue as i'm sure you'll know, and exhibitors will be allowed free entry to the day (car and all occupants), otherwise its £10 each on the gate.

If this breaches any PH rules, i apologise, but we are trying to get as many there as possible, to make the day better for all, and cars on display would be tremendous!

Regards,
Steve.

Hi Steve,

Is the cost £10 per person, does this also include children? With regards to the mini air show what is the schedule? Will it run both days?

Thanks,
Jason

Hi,

If you decide to turn up and pay on the gate (either sat or sun) then yes it is £10 per head, FREE entry for under 16's. Should PH wish to bring a group as a meet and display your vehicles (all makes/models/standards welcomed) then it will be FREE entry for the car and it's occupants.

The air show which should involve a flypast from the red arrows, a lancaster, eurofighter, some American A/C depending on what they send is booked for both days.

HTH,
Steve.

If you wish to come along and enjoy the racing, please do. You won't need ID, simply pay at the gate.

I just hope the weather improves, although it will make for some interesting rallying on the tighter corners!

Another cracking event, very surprised to see only a sprinkling of Scoobies there and only one RB5 maybe, think the first year was about 10 on display (before the RB320 came out)

Tornado was awesome, as was the Lancaster on Sunday, but in a different way
