The voice of Norwich City fc, radio Norfolk dj Roy Waller passed away last night. Will be a big miss from matchdays and i hope the club find some way of paying tribute.

yes, a great shame... had the pleasure of meeting Roy several times at charity events in recent years... a legend & true gent.

Hope City dedicate the first game and maybe a minutes silence as well. I can't imagine anyone else being able to commentate on the games.

My father covers his shows and still does while he was away ill on Radio Norfolk and was pretty close to old RW. Nice guy by the sounds but never met him myself. Ill be honest was not really a massive fan myself but hes in a far better peicefull place now, God rest his soul!!!!! Hes probably dancing with my daughter, bless him, as i write this thread
