PHEA Roadshow : Helmingham Festival 25 July
Discussion
There seem to be a lot of stickies on the forum at present but we have a very busy season approaching!
One of the biggest and most popular shows attended by Pistonheads East Anglia (PHEA) is the Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports Cars and this year it's on Sunday 25th July 2010. Helmingham is an outstanding show - there's a great deal of expensive and rare metal on display in a beatuiful setting, and it features the legendary 'driveway runs' where you can take your car for a short but hopefully noisy blat in front of the adoring crowds
The organiser, Jo, is very efficient and enthusiastic, and she's even bought fencing panels to make proper areas for female and male toilets - feedback from somebody here apparently! She writes: 'I would really like to see you all again this year. I have fought to keep the club ticket down to £10 per car (with 2 occupants) and I am working out a new site layout so that we can make the club stands a bit more prominent and enable you all to take part in the concourse if you desire...'
More info at www.helmingham.com/eventsasp2.asp?ID=14
We are her favourite Club apparently, so we can pay on the gate rather than in advance. The PHEA stand has space reserved for 15 cars, and at £10 for a car and two people it's excellent value. The faster, louder or more exotic your car the better

If anyone else would like to join us at this (excellent) Show, by all means put your name down provisionally but I'll need to ask Helmiomgham if they can spare any more room before confirming.
