I just had an email from a friend who received an email from my "iluvmercs" AOL Account.

He received it today, and it was advertising some dodgy website with a ".ru" suffix. He mentioned it looked as though it had been sent to my entire mailing list - which will be most of you.
MY ACCOUNT HAD BEEN HACKED - I don't know what's containted in this web link, so please just delete it!

I high proportion of "MAIL DEMON" responses seems to imply most of them have been picked up as SPAM, which is a good thing.

If my email address is now a "SPAM Alerted" address, you can now restore my email address, as I've changed my details.

I can only sincerely apologies for this, but believe me it's completely out of my control and nothing to do with me.

I got it Darren Good old BT didn't pick it up as SPAM for me.
Luckily, whilst i expect dodgy stuff from you via email, this looked too dodgy, so i deleted it
