good paint shop in or near colchester

Im looking to get my brand new unfitted wheels painted in body colour/silver... just looking for some local recomendations for a good local guy who will do a good job

I recently visited Carl at Wheelworx (Great Horkesley) and he was helpful and made a lot of sense. 01206 273010. However they're currently moving to Colchester and the number there will be 617271. If the first number doesn't work try the second, and then go along and he'll show you round.

they were not really interested in doing my wheels because the brand new set was going to be 2 tone which was too much hassle.... I have 2 sets of wheels so I kind of want to find a place that will be keen to do the work.

I know a guy who sprays and repairs Bentleys and use to works for P and A Woods. He did some work for me on the griff and turned out fine. I'll ask him about two tone wheels and see what he says.

Where are you based Andy as I'm Essex Suffolk border too.

Wheelworx did a repair job on a damaged Lotus wheel and painted the others.When they all came back I couldn't tell which was repaired and which was just re-painted so no complaints from me about them.

I've had a word with the guy I know and he said he be happy to have a look for you. He lives in Wakes Colne same as me. He's a bit a of Bentley nut too - as well as his own car you never know what he's got in the spray booth. Went in over the weekend and found a 1927 Bentley (wedding car) having some repair work done on it. When he started it you could hardly hear it running - proper engineering !
