A chap quite innocently posts some info he thinks we might find useful re a Maserati wedding car and driver. He then gets called a troll because of his post count of 10, by someone with a high post count. He gets told by this person that the price is nothing new as Avis already do self drive deals on that particular car, completely missing the point as this car comes with a driver. The thread ends up getting locked for some reason. I have read the OP's 10 posts via his profile and have also read a number of posts of his accuser. I just want to say to the OP if he happens to be reading this, that I appreciated the info on the Maser, I would love to see your Astons and on behalf of the more reasoned frequenters to this forum, would like to wish you a warmer welcome to PHEA.

Thanks guys.
My thinking was that someone who loves their cars would want to get a modern wedding car.
The usual modern cars are usually large Jags or BMW, Mercedes
The size of the rear seats is what impressed me with the Quadroporto. Yet it retained the looks of a sports car.
It was the first one I had seen close up in the flesh.
Unfortuately, the new AM Rapide could not be used as a Wedding car as the rear is far too small for a Bride in a wedding dress...
I didn't see the comments on the post. It was meant to be helpful not to cause offence.

Just to clarify the bit about PHEA... this forum belongs to Pistonheads, not PHEA, and therefore please understand that standard forum rules apply, particularly when complaints are received. One of those is 'no advertising', because many companies pay money to advertise their services on PH and understandably get miffed when other companies load up for free.
If someone posts 'Can anyone supply a wedding car?' then it's fine to reply and offer services or recommend someone; however to start a thread specifically saying 'Company X is great and here's their e-mail' is a different thing, even though Gary was trying to help someone.
By contrast PHEA is a loose collection of folk lightly herded by Darren (iluvmercs) and myself, and uses this forum as a convenient place to announce/discuss events. You're very welcome to bring your Astons to any PHEA event and you can hand out cards, stick an advert in the windscreen etc. The same goes for matey and his Maser
