Why is it I get some kind of hormonal itch to spend more money (I haven't got!) on automotive exotica - or at least cult exotica!!

This time I have taken a trip to Ireland to pick up a Renault Clio V6 Phase 2. Had a 12 hour drive back across Scottish hills and valleys, then down through the Midlands. It just handles brilliantly - I know the critics said that it was no faster than the 172 Cup but......now let me get on my soapbox!

....it has heart and soul like no other car I have driven. It twitches and adjusts its line like a child after 5 Redbulls, which insists on the driver giving the car their total concentration. I can see her biting back in the wet if you take your eye off the ball for one second....Oh st - I've had a orgasm!!

There - I think you get the picture. She will be out on the runs soon.

Never found ours overly confidence inspiring, but saying that, if space and funds allowed we'd have another.

Yes well krallicious, actually I am far less trouble than those French girls, more exciting than a BMW and oh, my top doesn't fly off in the slightest breeze like those flighty Italian ones!!! wink
Anyway I too have been looking for something to stimulate and excite.... something to get pulse racing, adrenalin flowing - something stunning, sexy, sleek, fast & loud.... smilelick
Ps. I'm not "purrfet" I'm Purrfect!!

I just love the stupidity of the concept.
[Bad French accent]
"Hmm why don't we stuff zis 3.0lt V6 in the back of zis petit clio?.... OK zounds like a bon idea to me" biggrin

Cracking purchase though. Who cares if the 172 is faster. As they say "It's not how fast you go, it's how you go fast"

Enjoy!

I know! See my post above yours smile You can't knock the Germans. I know they appear sober on the outside but, once you scratch the surface you'll find an absolute screamer! I'll trade you a bit of German though for a go in something British!

Excellent choice, so offbeat.

Who cares if it's not the fastest Clio? It's what it does to your senses that matters.

I've contemplated one of these myself but have always been worried about, well, it's a Renault...

Ooo- must be catching smile - only had the Ultima on the road a week and already looking for another toy... trying to convince the lady of the house that she needs to trade the R26 Megane in for something interesting before the warranty expires. She says I need medical help!! eek
