14th March - Thetford/Bury St Eds area meet up?
Discussion
As per some other threads by FunkyNige etc - thought I should do a single thread for all who may be interested to put down their name.
Any suggestions for this welcome! Perhaps meet up at Thetford forest or a recommended pub in Thetford/Bury.
Nearby interests:
Snetterton (may be bike racing on the 14th)
Tibenham gliding club (North of Diss)
Rattlesdon gliding club (East of Bury St Edmunds)

Count me in!
Bury St.Edmunds is nice, but Thetford isn't.
The only good thing I can say about Thetford is that it's easy to access as it's along a major route.
We'll all have to get our thinking caps on to find a suitable place.
14th is a Sunday so the pubs will all be filled with twats drinking all day, so I think maybe we should find a nice pub in a nearby village or something.
Isn't there a pub right near Snetterton track? If there is, that'll probably be chock-a-block as well due to the market they have there on Sundays.
Need to get our thinking caps on
Edit: Oops, looks like there may be a Ferrari meet on the same date so I may not be able to make it.

You`ll be very welcome if you can make it. Hopefully others will have suggestions.
Ian
Hi, problem with 14th is that it's the day of the Mid-Essex TVR meet, which is hosting the Ferrari owners club for the day as well, so as you can see here www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=86015&f=13&h=0 a lot of the TVR regulars are otherwise engaged. I can't make either as it's my brothers 40th so it's 'family get together' day. Tried to persuade him he would be best to celebrate at a car event, but it didn't wash
As "Suffolk fox" has said, this weekend co-incides with the big TVR/Ferrari Mid Essex meet - and the weather looks destined to be awful tomorrow (14th) so I for one won`t be getting the Chim out
While the weather is still rather changeable, I`ll say keep looking on here and if a Sunday looks good, we can arrange a short notice meet up by putting a date down ok - bl**dy weather!
