HELP!! Timing chain help!

hi there ive only just become a memeber and im tryin to get a bit of advice.

ive got a 54' xtrail sve and ive been told by the main dealer that the timing chain has over streched and needs replacing. he has estimated 1100 but told me that it could be more or less.

does any body know of a jap 4x4 specialist within twenty of norwich?

any help would be fantastic!

Not a 4x4 specialist, but they are Nissan specialists.
