More on Rougham

Most here know my opinion regarding the charging of car exhibitors at the shows at Rougham. Just would add that I didn't receive an reply to my letter of disagreement with their policy regarding this issue. Since writing I understand that the shows are now organised by an Company who are responsible for the imposition of the fees. This same Company also now organise Strumpshaw, last year being their first. Marshall's at last years show were quick to tell me of their disapproval of some of the new regulations being imposed on exhibitors, for example those exhibitors who fail to attend for the full three days of the show will not be invited to attend the following year! I can only hope that this Company will quickly come to realise that rather than enhance the quality of shows they are achieving the exact opposite IMHO.
Do I have an axe to grind? well I suppose I do, in the interests of enjoying attending local shows within an reasonable format of regulation. (and breathe)
