Does anyone have any recommendations? The 928 needs a ticket.

Should be straightforward, although I've heard of some garages failing them on front upper control arm play when it's actually a designed in part of the anti-dive kinematics, so I'd prefer to take it somewhere that's vaguely 'interested'.

I'd highly recommend Elvins in Poringland (on the roundabout) he was an absolute start with all my cars I took there since I started driving (admittedly mostly snotters) & all my parents cars

hes very straight forward & has never messed me around with silly trivial stuff

not sure what experience hes had of porsche's but worth the recommendation

I'd recommend Stuart Wright Transport, www.swtransport.co.uk - once again not sure on the Porsche knowledge but a sound guy with a nice tidy workshop!

Cheers, Poringland is a bit too far for me to bother, so Stuart Wright it is!

Spoke to my Porsche mechanic in Fulham, having seen it a couple of weeks ago he's confident it'll pass so hopefully it'll be a straightforward task!

Just to confirm, indeed a nice bloke with a very tidy workshop! Car passed fine with a couple of very useful observations outside the scope of the test, good price, I'll definitely use him again thumbup
