As recommended by PHer 'Crankedup', we're off to the White Lion in Ufford for their 4th Annual Bentley & Vintage Car Rally: www.uffordwhitelion.co.uk/events.php?id=47

More pix at www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=...

It's free to attend and is very informal. There are two fields for display, and it's first come first served. I wasn't sure whether to make this a 'Roadshow' event (ie cars for public display) or a 'Raid', open to all. But there will be Stewards there to decide which cars they want where, and they will direct cars either to the fields or the car park. But fear not, even in the car park you could end up next to an £800,000 Bugatti. There's certainly some rare and valuable metal there.

The show is getting more popular each year so I'd suggest we aim to be there at 10.00am. If you're interested please either add below or PM me smile

John has summed up this event very well but in case you need further encouragement : this event attracts some cars out of the garage that you would normally only associate with museums, but driven to the event!
I also recommend the B.B.Q yum

Unfortunately Dave with such little interest it's not a viable for us to attend as a group.

Pity, as Lavenham is so popular I thought this would have been a goer.

John, very surprising indeed, still can't say varied choice throughout the season is not on offer. Hope to see an few individuals from EAPH at the show.

It does indeed leave PHERs free to attend your bash, and I hope you get more than Ufford did!

I'll be going to Ufford, but seeing as a silver ,Diesel Skoda estate isn't really a PH type car I didn't put my name down. But even with the addition of my name, that's hardly transformed the attendance list! biggrin

I'm sure I'll meet you one year! Look out for a short fat Welshman loitering (although I don't look particularly Welsh!)

Managed to get there rather late this year due to other commitments so missed a few cars. Was still worth the effort though, as there were some great cars there again. Finally managed to get to meet David (crankedup) and his wonderful Vauxhall.

Only managed a few pics this year, but once again they show the quality and variety of the cars that attended......

we popped in on our way to london. Shame about the weather but a fun morning, plenty of cars still arriving as we left about 12:30 but we had to get going!

Good to see a little rain didn't seem to put many of the drivers offthumbup
