Classic Merc servicing in East Anglia

Can anyone recommend any garage that has experience of servicing '60s Mercs?

Want to make sure it gets done by someone with experience of this era of engine etc.

My parents and I have been using them for years.
Both of the owners are ex-Main dealer, one having completed an apprenticeship with the MB network.
Which Merc have you got? Obviously I don't everything they look after, but I've seen most era Mercs there from a Pagoda 280SL through to almost new vehicles, and plenty of specialist vehicles including a 190 Evolution, SL60 AMGs, along with mainstream AMGs

The owners are Mark Walklin-Smith and Simon Knights.

I tried Derrick Wells, but they only seemed really comfortable with Mercs produced in the last 30 years.

I have a 1964 220SEb Coupe. I'll give the guys in Norfolk a call, seems like a good bet.

Absolutely, I thought it was very good of Derrick Wells. If I had a younger car I would have booked it in no problems.

I can vouch for Auto Technic too. They are very, very thorough, although I don't know about the vintage you are referring to. If they say they can do it, I would trust them implicitly.

The proprietor owns a very tidy example of what from memory is a late 60s 280SL - its usually stored in their workshop - so worth a visit just to have a peek at it.
