My new old car
Discussion
Purchased last Saturday my latest old iron stead, no John I missed the Chumleigh - Fudpucker as you mention
But I have managed to buy the Vauxhall 14/40 that I had wanted and missed out on eight years ago! It dates from 1926, nice rebuilt 2.2 lt engine, saloon body with four doors and original leather interior in lovely condition. Huge amount of rear leg room so perfect for weddings if any persons would like an genuine vintage car to use. (and its cruise speed is 55mph)

Well you certainly don't hang around, I'll give you that. (Maybe you'll even pluck up the courage to join the PHEA stand at Lavenham now!)
If you ever get round to hosting some photos and details of it, send me the link and I'll give you a mention in my Blog.

Look a gorgeous car! congratulations!
It'll fit in well at Ufford, be nice to see it there this year.
Thanks Eccles, yup Ufford is fast coming up and all things being equal I shall be in my Vauxhall, see you there.:thumbsup:It'll fit in well at Ufford, be nice to see it there this year.
One job I need to get attended to is an seam in the leather back of rear seat needs stitching. Any recommendations please as to who could do this work please? Must have it looking its best for the very very high speed assisted demo at Rougham,
