I was posting on the Lancia PH group and posted this picture of my second mistress tucked up out of the cold........

...made me think who else tucks up their Babes over the grim season?

Doesn't it get a bit 'sweaty' in there?

Hell no!!! now is the time of year my car pays its way, no point having an XR4x4 if you can put it to good use on the snow covered roads! Ok, so some of the looks you get when you appear round a bend at 45 degrees is pretty funny, i bought my car to use it not hide it away. lol

I had literally just set it up when I took the photo - car doesn't sweat as it has two built in air fans that moderate the temp inside. Its a must with a rust craving Integrale in 10/10 nick.........at the moment!!

So its not actually completely sealed?

Just out of interest have you checked the humidity? A fan wont really do much to regulate humidity.

Never used a car cocoon myself but I cant help but think that without the correct machinery they're not particularly effective.

Sorry if thats a bit off topic but its my field of work!

A guy i know puts a dehumidifier in his Carcoon with his 2k mile Escos, that way it keeps the humidity correct, IIRC the fans just serve to keep air moving and the Carcoon inflated. The one the guy i know uses is like a tent so has a frame round it so you just lift the end and drive the car out, not peel it over the car first and scratch hell out of the paintwork.

Hmmm...don't know. They say it drys the out and stops condensation coz it doesn't allow for rapid changes of temp.

Get a greenhouse dehumidifyer from a DIY store. Condensation can cause more rust than precipitation. You need to take the car out every now and then to keeps the brakes and bits in check. Deltas don't like sitting around.
