Happy New Year Neil! Hope the Roadster is well! Im away at sea again, currently in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Due home early March, so if nothing else has been organised by then maybe we could decide on something, the new Porsche Muesum is supposed to be very good, might tempt you back to the dark side lol! What months is the Stelvio Pass open? All the best.

I'm planning another run through the Swiss Alps again this year. Probably in early June to celebrate the opening of the passes.

I arranged one last October and met some of the Swiss PHers. We had a fantastic time and stopped at the 'Ring on the way home.

Darren will be coming along in his car. If the dates are favourable for the January run, I will see you there asI will have a better idea of dates.

Pete (Darren's brother)

Thanks guys!

Hi Pete - Luv your persistence in getting me to convert to the Dark side. We will no doubt catch when you get back from your International Globetrotting - and I will try and convert you to Italian madness!

Hi Krallicious - Luv the sound of the trip mate. June is perfect for me too. PM me the details when you get them and I will probs join you. Of course will see you when your bro gets round to this January trip he keeps promising us!

Threesixty - Cheers for the info - I didn't know they existed and looks really interesting.

Thanks Guys

I'm doing the SELOC Ypres bash with the Belgian Lotus Club, looks good - 13th May, getting the ferry out on 12th, may stay for the weekend and come back on the Sunday. Taking my 71 year old dad with me as shotgun!! Lots of driving on lovely roads then a big posh meal on the night time.

Neil, Rachel is referring to SELOC.org (this stands for "South East Lotus Owners club"). I think the Ypres tour is a day trip (all be it with an over night stay) to Belgium, to tour the First World War battle sites etc.

I've been really wanting to do a tour or short break in the lotus, especially to "The Ring". Perhaps we should sort something out ourselves? I'd be up for helping to arrange a small group trip. I know tankerman and a few others would up be up for a sensible trip of some kind.

Hi Gary

I'm up for that - been to 'The Ring' a couple of times and always have a great time. Got quite a busy year but will do my best to fit in with you - may have a couple of mates who are up for it too.

Im hopefully going to be arranging a trip to the nurburgring with a few mates late summer time i think.

Will be my 4th trip over there so know most of the ins and outs if you need to ask any questions!

If I do sort something ill try and post on here, but i normally use a different forum.

Would it be ok to post the link to that if it goes ahead?

As threesixty mentioned:

1. Stelvio (and lots of other passes)

2. Millau (and a fantastic mountain run)

3. Or something slightly more adventurous

Can you now? Where are you based? I have a Powerkite but I can't fly it or launch it on my own so practising just hasn't happened frown

Just got myself a GoPro Motorsports HD camera so get ready for some (hopefully) fab HD footage of 70 Lotuses driving around Ypres biggrin
