Hi,

I'm coming home this evening to see my mum and just wondered what the road were like in Norfolk this afternoon. I'd normally just go for it but am bringing the kids so though it worth asking.

Are they gritting the a-roads?

I'll be leaving Berkshire at about 7pm aiming to be there at around 10pm under normal conditions.

Many thanks,

Mark

We had a chap come into work (out in the sticks behind Stowmarket)this morning from Dereham, he said the roads were passable with care. Having said that, it's started snowing again here....

But you might be posting that from your Blackberry in the middle of a snowdrift wink

I am in North Elmham and couldn't get the car up the drive this morning so had to work from home. Roads okay though according to the post man! Not sure what happened to the gritters, guess they were busy elsewhere.

Thanks for the info. The roads round dereham weren't too bad in the end but from the 30 miles before that past lakenheath and swaffam were a bit grim... didn't see the road surface for about 25 miles.

Very christmassy though wink
