Imagine my surprise when persusing this months Evo when I turn to the buying guide (Audi RS4 this month) & recognise the car...

Darren - the car looks great

PHEA must be staking a claim to taking over this part of Evo, as a certain Simpo Two of this parish has had his car (& cheery countenance) in this part of the mag before...

It was a great day out, seeing how they take all the photos.

However, on the day they forgot to take a photo of me. So I had to take one. I sent them 3 to choose from, and it seems they've picked the worst of the (very poor) bunch!

Simpo...you've been in EVO? Does anyone know which Issue? I'd love to have a read

Long day at work, Evo waiting on the doormat, so a , comfy seat and a quick EVO browse is first job tonight.... then whoooaah!.....damn well nearly dropped my tinny!

Clear case of Beauty and the beast! - I'll leave it to others to decide which way round, RS4 or mugshot!

Seriously though , Nice one Darren - as previously mentioned, car looks stunning!

I vividly remember my trip there - not least because while I was watching the car being photographed, two airliners crashed into the World Trade Centre... some bloke was talking about it in the car park; I thought he was a loony until I put the radio on on the way home.

My only appearance in evo was standing in one of their trackday adverts giving advice to caterham drivers. I say advice, it was more likely telling them to calm down a bit as they were acting like tts

Nope. A chap called Matt Vosper. I went to a studio in Leighton Buzzard, out Dunstable/Milton Keynes way.

The photos were taken about 3 weeks before I went on my European trip, so I hadn't yet earned my 'Ring sticker

My Viper was featured in the Feb 2002 EVO magazine following a photo shoot at the Leighton Buzzard studio as well. The photographer at the time was David Shepherd and I got a great set of 3 prints for my trouble.

It is the new one (in the shops now) and has a Italian car themed cover (no Lambos mainly Dancing Donkeys).
