Norfolk 2 Benin. 2cv Africa

On October 30th the 2cv Touareg Trail 2009 begins. 20 Citroen 2cv cars will leave Brussels on a 9,000km adventure through Europe and Africa in order to raise money for a good cause. Behind the steering wheels of these cars are not professional rally drivers, not Paris-Dakar drivers nor racing fanatics but ordinary people with one thing in common; an absolute passion for adventure in it’s purest form...

My friend Kel and her dad Mal are taking part this year and I just thought it would be good to post up on here!

Please support her and follow them on their journey.

My boys geography is not as good as his maths, we have a house in Benin city Nigeria. Benin is a few hours drive from Lagos, depending on potholes, traffic and robbers(police)

As an old saying goes: "Beware, take care of the Bight of Benin. For each one that comes out, there were 40 went in"...
