I should be picking up a shiney new toy from bmw parklane this week. Rather than taking it home on the dreary A11, I fancy some more suitable roads.

The cars new home is in Norwich, im looking to arrive with a big grin and hopefully no points so all suggestions welcome smile

My suggestion is to take a passenger and a map.
Tell them to avoid motorways at all costs and rely on them for "left" and "right" instruction as and when required.

That's how I made my way home from Iver, Buckinghamshire when I picked up my Audi. I ended up Royston, and eventually only joined the A11 north of Cambridge - a good day biggrin

Can you not select 'longest' route 'avoiding motorways and A roads' on the Satnav and go from there...

Good call!

Nothing of note in the way of interesting driving routes coming into east anglia at all? surely not!

extended bamboo.

Really pleased with it, apart from picking up a chip on the windscreen on the drive home!
