Dump Valve Simulators, Plastic fake rear discs, and now this
Discussion
That just scares me. I don't mind people putting fake stuff on if it pleases them. What I find scary is the potential for this to come adrift and affect the caliper's movement or contaminate the braking surface.
Customise one's car how one will, but one has a duty of care towards one's passengers and us other road users to not put us in danger through one's failings to maintain one's vehicle.

Oi! I owned a TR40 (TR7 Ferrari F40). Only wanted the engine and box for my MGB sold it to Robsport in the end for three times what I paid for it.
Wouldn't ABS plastic caliper covers melt? I've just bought a set of Fiat Coupe Brembo's for my Lancia Beta. I could have saved a few quid and had shocking brakes.

These covers have been about for a while......I have fitted them ONCE to a customers car (shivers)not the sort of thing I would normally do.
But I will say I was impressed with the quality....Actual stainless capheads and bleed nipple with cover...not bad at all but there is a line taking BUIT a step too far.
I could be a little guilty of this I did some work trial fitting the body but the guy ran out of money and it was never finished properly and a terrible paint job was done .
And if it had 5 spoke wheels they are actually Ferrari 355 wheels I did say to him to buy some replicas with a deep dish but he decided on a cheap secondhand set which meant I had to make 6" spacers for the back
Oh the shame

Next thing you know someone will try and convert an MR2 into a F355...
Spotted one of those in Aylsham last week, terrible looking thing, let down even further by the small wheels. Owner looked quite pleased with himself though, as did his girlfriendAnd if it had 5 spoke wheels they are actually Ferrari 355 wheels I did say to him to buy some replicas with a deep dish but he decided on a cheap secondhand set which meant I had to make 6" spacers for the back
