Late summer Run II - When do you want to do it?

Last year we did a great run/hoon in and around Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.

There was a starting point in each county and we all meet up at Knettishall Heath Country Park for a picnic another blat after lunch.

I'm thinking about repeating this on one of the dates aboves. I'll keep this poll open for a week then go with the majority.

I'm happy to do the route from Cambridge to Knettishall but I'm not sure if Darren and John can do the Suffolk and Norfolk legs. So volunteers welcome. Darren still has the route from last year so you'll just have lead the group and not loose anybody

On the 27th, I'm in Cambridge for a friend's Birthday.
Also, strangely, I'd be doing a different PistonHeads Run on the 4th Oct, but in Switzerland!

I don't mind when it is, a sunday would be best for me as i work alternate saturdays.
Also i'll need a petrol station every 80 miles if im really giving the bike beans

Just to note that the Marham trackday is over the weekend of the 3/4

I'm at the Marham trackday on the 3rd so the 4th is out. Can't make the previous weekend either

The trackday is popular so as they say, 4th October probably best avoided.

Well done for kick starting organising another run! As usual I'm stuck on a ship again, currently heading to Trinidad to load. Due home 3rd of October, so any time after that suits me! Blow the cobwebs out the 911 like I did on the Fish and Chip run in April!

Hi Mark, did this run with you guys last year and thoroughly enjoyed it so good to see you're going again As for dates not too fussy but get it fixed asap and will move mountains to accomodate it

I would prefer a Sunday. 11th October is out for me as it is the last Time Attack round at Snetterton that i am probably doing a trade stand at.

We are due a monthly pub meet so can we not tie up a run to a pub am, then lunch to let the cars recover and us refuel, then a further run pm.

I did think about the pub thing last year. However as these events normally attract a large number of people, 30+ cars, no pub was willing to take a booking that large without some sort of deposit. So picnic was the best option :-)
