Where are they going?

Lots of classic yanks and hot rods running up the A12 though Essex today. Where are they going?

Many towing trailers so I guess it's a weekend festivity.

Thats probably the "Street Rod Nationals" show which is on over this week end at the Suffolk Show ground / Trinity Park in Ipswich. See - www.streetrodnationals.co.uk.

I think tomorrow (Saturday)they travel in convoy to Felixtowe (not sure what time) and park along the prom.. I'll probably go - well worth a look, some interesting vehicles!

Just found out - the convoy starts at around 12pm - 600??+ cars

600 That'll be tight - must be...oooo...200 spaces at Felixstowe. Less any taken up by day-trippers

I'm going to go along for the Sunday - look at the metal during the day and watch the 'Bootleg Blues Brothers' in the evening.

Keep an eye open for the Rebel-V8 banner, I will hopefully be there or if I run late will be parking my purple Harley F150 in the day show field on the far left side of the park....

600?? Yes sounds OTT, but there were a lot of cares last year. Parking not an issue as they park on the prom. alongside the beach, which must be a mile long; last year IIRC there were cars from one end to the other.
