Today this am around 8.15. Looked like a green Porsche on its roof, hard impact and must have been rather nasty. I was travelling towards Norwich and it appeared to have not long happened, lots of people on the scene checking the occupant & looking very shocked. I couldn't see much however it was very compacted and the driver will be lucky if he (or she) comes out with few injuries.

This happening as I hear on the radio about the numerous traffic reports of cars on their roofs on the M25/M11 & M1? Greasy out there so lets take it easy in this weather pattern we're having.

Hope they are OK.

Yeah I seen that too!

Looked like she went up the embankmentas well due to the damage of the trees/ shrubs.

Can't work out what happened though as it wasn't too far from the rounabout and its very rare you get round without being stopped at one of the sets of lights so where did her speed come from???

Without wanting to speculate I would think that she had come from Great Yarmouth direction on the A47, taken the Thickthorn slip road (the entire slip was closed for the duration of the investigation) - centre lane to turn left, and probably hit the verge on the centre reservation which flipped it. Like you say, probably been up the embankment too as a couple of signs had been wiped out.

When I went past (just after 9) there were green canvas panels up but the Porsche was still on its side. From the angle I saw the car, there didn't seem to be *too* much impact to the passenger compartment - I was quite surprised when I read it was a fatal frown

Turns out she was coming from Great Yarmouth and worked at the Police headquarters in Wymondham. Sadly passed away due to head/ chest injuries!

Hello, just like to say the driver of the Porsche 996 was my wifes very best friend for over 40 years and will be missed terribly.
