I might be looking to swap my everyday car for a Seat Ibiza SC. Are any of the EA dealers worth travelling a bit further for, I'm not keen on the Cambridge franchise.

Cheers

If I had to say something nice about the SEAT dealer in Colchester I'd have to follow my mother's advice and say nothing at all.

When we bought our Leon FR Cambridge filled us with no confidence at all. Peterborough seemed OK, the only dealer we found helpful were Milton Keynes though thats just a touch out of EA for you!

TBH Milton Keynes is probably as close as Norwich to me, but I'll give Cecil and Larter a chance to impress me first. Before resorting to an internet broker who will knock a bit over a grand off list price...

Thanks

I bought a New Ibiza Cupra from Cambridge in 2002, the after sales service was very poor - at the time C&L had closed their Bury Branch so didn't have an alternative for servicing, ended up selling it after a year because of the poor service.

Been looking at Leon's lately and C&L in Bury seem very good, although they only had one person in the showroom on Saturday so had to wait around!

Stoneacre Peterborough have improved alot recently since a refit, used to take my Leon Cupra TDI there from new until I changed it for a Mazda at 115K miles. Tried Cambridge once and were awful so never again.

Another vote for Castlegate in Norwich. They have been looking after my Leon Cupra TDi for the past 4 years and 90,000 miles.

Other option is Letchworth Seat. A little further, but I find them OK.

Avoid Colchester like the plague i have it on good authority that the "loose" cars very easily, however i would strongly recommend Irfan at M1 Autos. Ok its a little out of the way but he will sort you out with a brilliant deal, had 3 Seats from him now and although you have to work to push the price down its well worth the trip.
