As title. The GTR has moved on. It had been up for sale for a while with no serious cash buyers.
I had had it nearly 7 years and had some fun and some bad times with it too so time to move on.
I wanted a quick practical 4WD car that i can get the family in and also load up with gear to do some trade stands at a few events so i was lookin at fast estates like Volvo T5, Audi S4, Mitsubishi Legnum, Subaru Legacy, Nissan Stagea etc with a budget of £3/4K.
With me being a Nissan man, the Stagea was favourite with its 2.5 single turbo unit as the GTS-T, but nearly all have an auto box and the manuals are being very rare and expensive for what they are.
Then this came up.

A very special Autech built 260RS Stagea. All R33 GTR engine/running gear from new and only one of 5/6 in this country.
They had specially strengthened chassis to cope with the extra stress.
I did a deal with the importer and picked it up last Thursday. More pics.

It drives great. Lovely and smooth. Quick for a car that weighs 1720kg.
It need very little doing. Cat 1 alarm going on tomorrow and i may change the wheels.
I am just going to do mild tuning on this one and keep the engine internals standard. Going for 400hp which should give it 0-60 in under 5 secs. That will do me lol.

I really like it...it looks practical and lots of fun too!

The wheels look hard to clean, I can imagine trying to get the brake dust off the fronts...maybe something like this?
Stylish and simple...would give it a bit more of a VOLVO "R" look and less "bling"? wink

Look forward to seeing the car...

That is the idea mate. I can get the family in and the gazebo/stock to do a trade show and display the car when unloaded. Perfect smile

defo loose the wheels!

I'd do the "Dog Unit" thing with a couple of flashing blue lights behind the grill. You would get round the bypass with your foot hard down no worries - LOL
