September marham trackday
Discussion
Hi im looking at trying my first trackday. I missed the last day there but really want to try this one in september. How do i join and what will the costs be? How much fuel do you guys and girls used last time?
Im very sorry for asking such silly questions but new to all of this.
Also i dont know how loud my car is and im worried about braking the noise limits of 105db. How can i test it or does anyone have a noise tester?

Hi Matt,
I expect the details will be posted on here nearer the time.
1. Last time they did not check the noise limit.
2. Your car will get lots of stone chips.
3. I used about 50 litres in a 4.3 Tuscan.
4. You will probably use several mm of tyre tread depth.
5. You could well damage your engine.
6. You could well damage the bodywork.
7. You could get through a complete set of brake pads.
8. You will need a crash helmet
9. You should have a fire extinguisher in the cabin. A small one from Wilco will do (£10).
10. Bring a trolley jack and some basic tools including tyre pressure guage, pump, water and oil.
It is good fun though!

Forgot to add...
In April, Saturday cost £70 or £80 with a passenger. I think if you do both days of the weekend you get a discount? This is good value and the money goes to some good charities. I think Sunday is more popular?
I would reccomend wearing some cotton clothing. I wore all the skin off my right elbow and still have quite a scar!
Fitting your car with a camera will make it all the more enjoyable afterwards.
If you haven't already, go on youtube.co.uk and search for Marham Track Day.
