Discussion
For all of you who attended this little meet last year I have been asked to organise the same again even though no longer in the RAF I have kept contact so its nice to be asked back.
Appentley last time we stopped everybody in their tracks when we turned up in convoy, and the event raised a lot of money for the Help the Heroes and Air Ambulance.
So I will gladly organise another show if I can get enough people who want to come along again, and new commers more than welcome. The more the merrier.
If I could ask the usual suspects to help with stickies and throwing the net as far and wide as possible for me. (DAZ and Simpo to name but two).
I think last year we managed about 16 cars or so, if we can better that then it will be great.
Will pass on more news as I find out, but will be the same as last year with a big pitch to arrange the cars on.
I have asked about the runway again, but at this short notice prob not, but they interested in a go at it another time.
So please come along, get the day off work and enjoy a good laugh for a good charity.
cheers

Sorry can't make this year due to other plans, bit gutted as last year was a really good day out.
Let's hope that we can do the runway thing in the future as this would top the day off a treat, just need to put the health ans safety people in the cupboard for a few hours so they don't notice us having some fun and raising money for charity too.

Good to see the numbers are growing, thought for a while it was going to be a tough job getting cars.
I intend to meet up at same place as last year as it provided a good blast up before meet.
It was the Hotel opposite the Sainsburys round a bout in Bury. Symonds Rd I think it was on.
They want us at the show for 12 ish so we should meet up by 11.30 to group up and roll out. I think our entrance was liked by all last year.
Darren/Simo, can we organise the Piston Heads banner for this one please?

Darren has the high banner and I have the low one (which is probably more suitable on a windy airfield). You're welcome to collect either, geography permitting!Edited by Simpo Two on Wednesday 22 July 20:05

If it's too windy, we can have it at "half-mast" like it was at Kimbolton
